Just received a package of Peak supplements I ordered from Profitnes. The taste fits the bill and the packaging is solid. Actually too solid for the rectangle shaped big bos (see the picture). The lid is too attached to the box and when I pulled hard enough the protein sprinkled on the table... not much tho.

The package included all ordered products, except one. I called the shop and they apologised and said they will send it now and I should b getting it tomorrow.

The can with bigger oppening is more practical

The art of buying a good protein poweder is getting harder and harder as more and more products are introduced. But for the well informed (or those with friends who can help choosing) can find products that suit them best. For ketonic diet protein powder with as little carbs as possible is the optimal choice. I present you Peak Anabolic Protein Fusion. When it comes to flavors the rule to each his own applies but I would say vanilla is too mellow with water. It is great with milk (tested only with cold). Chocholate is the proper choice for me.

Once you get used to suplements you start complaining about shakers. The press and threaded cap. The dripping from the cap. The ease of cleaning. The quality of the grate. Shakers of all types shapes and sizes. You need three shakers: pre-workout workout, post-workaout... unless you want to mix from the cans right there in the gym. I recomend a shaker that is easy to clean, threaded and with a but oppeining where you can easily pour in water without removing the top. The only shaker that fits the bill is Peak shaker.

• the cap attached to the top but it is not threaded
• no threads on head, can detach in a bag
• the grate is bad

EAS blue top shaker

• good grate
• no thread

BSN red shaker

• bad grate
• bad top
• small
• annoying to drink out of it you either close the top air intake hole by accident along with all other "attached cap" shaker
• its red (cool color) but too much commercial bullshit on it (was free tho, with some crap BSN product I don't want to advertise here
• transparent on some parts but still hard tosee the level of liquid inside

EAS purple shaker

• its purple
• the cap drips allover your face / clothes while drinking (a drop or 2 every time unless you wipe it, not sanitary)

And the winnder is: Peak shaker

• resolves all the problems mentioned
• big oppening so you can easily add water
• its black
• transparent enough to see the level of liquid inside (easier than with BSN)

 Peak Hi-Tec Protein

When you are on ketogenic diet whey protein is only suitable for the Post Workout Shake (PWO Shake). It will spike your insulin levels. An alternative are the slow releasing proteins. Peak Hi-Tec Protein is one such product.

Note: this does not mix well with hot soy milk.
